Ever since my family took a road trip out west when I was a twelve, I’ve been a book worm. That summer I begged my parents to stop at every book store we came across and I think I came home with a whole extra suitcase of books. Books fill our minds with knowledge and our hearts with wisdom. They teach us that there is a great big world out there-and encourages us to get outside of our own comfort zone. I love the classics (I read Jane Eyre AT LEAST once a year), chick lit, mysteries, christian living, biography,… But lately I’ve been drawn to biographies. I’ve been drawn to books that share from heart (even the messy bits).
Here are a few books that I’m loving lately. So before heading to the beach this summer, hit up the library, power up your kindle or borrow one of these great reads from a friend. Trust me, your heart (and mind) will thank you!
1. Love Does by Bob Goff
2. 7 by Jen Hatmaker
3. Little Princes by Conor Grennan
4. Free Fall to Fly by Rebekah Lyons
5. One Good Thing by Kevin Alan Milne
